there is a sister location down a bit on river road (I believe in a shopping center) in Englewood Cliffs. Not to overlook this - but, it's long the Hudson, and on a clear day, you'll have a great view of the city skyline and the sun bouncing off the river. But, knowing how much it is worth to drive up to "the west new york' vicinity - it's totally worth making a special trip now and then.

I will say that I am glad about how far the Brownstone is from us - or we'd become serial regulars (and ultimately gain a couple hundred pounds). as I do with any service person that takes care of us - hotel, restaurant, casino - wherever. I made sure to let her know I would be naming her in my review (sorry it took a couple weeks, Nicole!). We had a few small chats - from dietary issues, to school, to what her suggestion on the menu was, to letting her know at the end of our meal how totally impressed we were with her personality AND the service she provided us. The highlight though was our server Nicole. And the little mason jars as cups? NICE!! I think the grapefruit juice was fresh squeezed - while not on the sweeter side - it was still yummy. Even the coffee was amazing (and I'm a coffee snob). I cannot think of a single negative comment to make about the food or drink. So, my advice - order sparingly, unless you're a huge eater. I honestly forgot how large the portions were when we ordered - we were able to take plenty home for snacking on later though.

We stayed a couple of hours, indulging in coffee, the cowboy wrap, the NJ Chicken and bacon/cheddar pancakes and the buffalo mac and cheese pancake wrap. We were seated right away and greeted by Nicole our server.
The ride was, we'll say 'uneventful' - but we arrived before the valet was even set up in the small parking lot and we found a good parking spot. (I had been to the Jersey City location a couple times but, while still in the family, I believe the JC location is not a pancake factory any longer). Since it was my bday - we finally decided to trek up north to the Brownstone Pancake Factory. We woke up in North Brunswick at 4am on the morning of Jan 18 - we lazed around for 2 hours going back and forth over breakfast. Restaurants with Outdoor Seating in Edgewater.
